Night In A Car 2017

WHAT IS A NIGHT IN A CAR?

A homelessness simulation that shines a spotlight on the hidden aspect of homelessness that many in our community experience--living in their cars. Participants will "live" out of their cars during the overnight hours. We are challenging participants to raise $1,000 per car.

WHEN AND WHERE WILL THIS EVENT TAKE PLACE?

Friday, February 3rd, 2017. The simulation will take place at Trinity Lutheran Chruch, 801 South Madison Street, in Bloomington.

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

Home Sweet Home Ministries has launched an amazing campaign on CrowdRise. Setting up your own personal fundraiser, benefiting Home Sweet Home Ministries is beyond easy. Here are some quick steps to make it happen:

1. Go to https://www.crowdrise.com/NightInACar

2. Click on the SIGN UP YOUR CAR button.

3. Follow the prompts to either Join an existing Car or Create a brand new fundraising Car Team.

In seconds, you'll be part of our CrowdRise community and have your own personal fundraising page. You can then personalize your page with your story, a mess of photos, and share it with all of your family, friends, everyone at work, and maybe even a few strangers.

EXTRA BONUS: All participants will receive a "I Survived a Night in a Car" T-shirt. When you register, please be sure to pick your T-shirt size!
