On January 6th, 2026, we gathered to mark a moment our community has been working toward for a long time — the official opening of The Bridge.
With city leaders, partners, supporters, and staff in attendance, the ribbon cutting celebrated the completion of a new low-barrier, non-congregate shelter village built to meet people where they are. The Bridge adds 48 units designed to offer stability, dignity, and a safer alternative for those who have been living outside.
The Bridge stands just across the street from our main campus and expands the way we serve. In addition to a private place to sleep, residents will be connected to mental health care, substance use treatment, and ongoing support as they work toward their next chapter.
This day was less about a facility and more about community. From the collaboration it took to get here, to the trust placed in this vision, and the neighbors whose lives will be impacted because of it.
Below are photos from the ribbon cutting event, capturing a milestone made possible by generosity, perseverance, and a shared commitment to caring for our community.
