As we continue to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic, Home Sweet Home Ministries has started volunteer trainings for existing volunteers. On June 15th, we welcomed back our first volunteer in the kitchen! If you are an existing volunteer and have not heard from us, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Teresa Lindsey, at 309-319-2819.
Our Bread For Life Co-op is preparing to make changes as well. Our last day of emergency food box distribution will be Friday, June 26th.

Update as of March 16, 2020:
Home Sweet Home Ministries continues to monitor the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. At this point in time, we are suspending all volunteer activities as a precautionary measure. This includes both group and individual activities, including those doing community service. We believe this is the right thing to do in order to protect the health of our volunteer community. We will communicate with you when this changes.
Also, starting on Wednesday, March 18 the Bread For Life Co-op will shift to an emergency response mode of operating, providing pre-packaged food boxes for anyone who needs assistance. Prior co-op membership is not required. Hours to pick up food boxes will be:
