Custodial
Help us keep HSHM sparkling! We are in need of volunteers to help with Custodial Services that can be done on any day of the week at your convenience. Position includes sweeping and mopping the floors inside the building and sanitizing the restrooms and common areas and other duties as assigned. This is a VERY important role that is essential to the operation of our ministry!
Objective: To aid HSHM staff and fellow volunteers in keeping HSHM facilities clean
Location: 303 and 301 E. Oakland Ave., Bloomington, IL
Responsibilities:
- Arrive punctually and practice good communication with staff
- Assist with keeping restrooms, stairwells and commonly trafficked areas clean
- Provide a friendly, organized environment for the community that we serve.
- Share a hopeful, welcoming attitude with all who enter our doors.
- Exhibit respect and care for residents, community members, volunteers, staff, donors, et al.
Basic Qualifications:
- 18+ years of age
- Volunteer application on file
- Closed toed shoes required (tennis shoes are fine)
Time Commitment: 2-4 hours
Training/Support: Staff and fellow volunteers will be happy to help with orientation and guidance as you learn about the work involved in preparing and sustaining our facilities.
